During my adventures I have tried a lot of seasonings. Some were better than others but they were not what I was looking for. That is why I started to try my hand at making my own seasoning. Through many trials, I found the right combination that worked for me and started the long process of letting people try it to get their opinions, good or bad. To my surprise it has gone much better than I could have imagined. Several people asked me where they could buy it but I told them it was just made at home. They asked for the recipe and a light came on. I wonder….. So here we are today. My seasoning has been on the market since September of 2014 and is being sold in local grocery stores, bar and grills, and shops in the local area. Now it is time to expand again.
My seasoning is of the sweet heat type but not too hot. The more you add the hotter it will be but it is not overpowering at all. It will make a nice glaze on your chicken and pork and impart a great flavor with its unique blend of spices. It can also be added to sauces and it makes a nice bbq sauce with some tomato puree. My customers have also tried it on potatoes, veggies, and even eggs and said that is was good. It is also good on baked fish as well. So give it a try and let me know what you think.
